  1. ..I left the RN prorgam with a solid B average, it was just that I had a siezure and was not able to make the 2 hour daily commute because I could not drive at all. Then i found out the seizure was related to diabetes..that I did not know I had! I was a mess for a few months! My docctor recommended a less srtessful Degree but nursing is really what i want to do and I can do the LPN program 5 miles from my house...I am hoping that the change in commute, will lessen some of the stress. I am finally getting excited again about going back to school!!!! I plan on getting my RN school books out and reviewing alot between now and then and start practicing the steps of the skills I had already learned, and reviewing care plans I have already written. The muscle meory is kinda rusty for me as well so it will takea little practice to get smooth and coordinated again. Good luck all!!!
  2. Hi Jaleisha, My name is Kimand I am new to this site as well. I am waiting to get into the local LPN program, they only admit every 18 months or so , so it will be Januaury of 2011 before I can get started. But I am lucky the school is like 5 minutes from my hosue! I was thinking maybe you can find a friend who owes you a favor or family, and ask them to be your guinea pig for a while ...so you have a real person to go over the steps with, unless it is sometihng invasive then I would suggest practicing steps until they are completetly memorized I actually have a semester and half of RN school under my belt, but I did not get to finsh:crying2: I had to leave due to medical issues, and those are the things we did...just practice until going through the motions are automatic. I do plan on going back ot school but I am gonna og othe LPN program that is 5 miles from my house!!!!!!!!Before i was driving 2 hours a day.... Good luck hope some of this helps
