  1. I think you should def. apply, call the admissions office and ask them if they will accept your grade for Micro. I think minimum GPA is below 3.0 so you'd be okay there. Admissions relies very heavily on the entrance exam, not necessarily solely on GPA so if you work hard enough you can get a spot. Call ************, the staff is really helpful, easy to reach and will guide you through the admissions process. Which was really great because I had applied a couple of other places and you were lucky to get a call back, let alone some guidance in the admissions process! Good Luck! Hadassah
  2. Hi I was wondering if there were any future our current Hopfer Nursing students who can share a little bit about what to expect with Nursing 1 at Dorothea Hopfer. I was recently accepted and I am thrilled and would love to hear from some current students about their experiences and more details about the program. Thanks !!
  3. Hi I was wondering if anyone else was stuck on a waiting list and had any suggestions as to whether it was worthwhile to stick it out (in my case a year and half) take some nursing classes that available to the public, such as medical terminology, principles of drug adminstration, calculations of pharmacology etc. or does it make sense to enroll in an LPN program and later bridge. I currently have a decent job, not in the medical field, and while I am fascinated by nursing, I do not have to work ASAP in the field, unless it will make me a better nurse.
