  1. Looking for Certification Programs

    I am supposed to be getting my masters but i am not certain in which area i truly wish to work......so i was considering starting off small and working up to my masters (esp. considering that i haven't been in school for about 5 years ++) Anyhow, back home we have certification programs.....and was hoping to find something similar here in the USA...but so far no luck.....does anyone know of any programs offered? I am thinking mostly of a CCU course or an ER Cert. program..... Thanks :)

    It is my understanding that it really depends on where you are from......I myself am from English Speaking Canada, and therefore I only need to write and pass the NCLEX....after that i just need to go through the Visa Screen Cert. process.......which is having them check my background information (such as schooling and nursing registeration from Canada).
