Soon to be RN grad what to do about current job
Basically I work as an LVN in dialysis for a few years now, and am set to graduate with my ADN in May. I don’t know whether I’ll leave or not but my current job has not approached me with an offer yet? Is that normal? Also due to school and studying for the NCLEX I have to downgrade my full time lvn position to a part time or PRN basis. Should I mention anything about that fact that I am technically considered a graduate nurse in my letter of resignation from my full time position ?♀️???? Does my job title automatically change??? Technically if this is true and It does change should they pay me more money?? The whole thing is super confusing ?♀️ Help?!?!

I failed out of nursing school
Hi everyone, I just completed my second semester of a BSN program and unfortunately failed out. I made a D in one class and a 73.9 in another which for my school is considered failing. The D was expected but the other one was totally out of left field... I actually spent all my time studying for the other class (73.9), which is part of the reason the other class suffered so much. I really, really want to be a nurse... and am just feeling really down... I do plan on trying to fight my grade but I don't know if it will work. Im really upset, I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr so it really has been a rough semester for me. My problem now is finding another school to accept me but not in two years... I have heard of students transferring into programs and am more than willing.... I don't want to give up, but unfortunately I can't be in school forever (student loans are due soon)... The schools that I have attempted to talk to are pretty much like oh sorry sucks for you.... I really want this though, and am just feeling a little like a failure right now. I am looking for a school in the Houston area that hopefully will let me transfer or start in the fall (even if I have to start all over)... i am confident in my ability to complete a program and even have future plans to get a MSN... but one step at a time and unfortunately i fell a couple of steps.... So if anyone has any ideas I am very open and appreciative :) I don't want to change my major and would be really heartbroken if I had to do something else....... trying to stay hopeful.

I am a new nursing student but am not doing so well
Hey everyone, I am a new nursing student but am not doing so well... I really enjoy nursing, learning about nursing, and pt. care. I have never hoped to make a C in a class ever until now.... I understand that I need to adjust to the "nursing student life", but now we are at the end of the semester and I find myself stressing... I have finals in about a month and am looking for any help on maybe how to study or time management... I am a single mother of a young boy so u can understand how easy it is to study in my house ... I am in serious need of any tips or guidance. Thanks
