  1. Hello fellow nurses: I'm new here! I've been out of nursing for some 2 years now and desperate to return. I miss nursing, the families, the patients, working with dedicated folks around me! I've applied for tons of jobs, am jumping through hoops I really should not have to jump and it's not helping! Does anyone have any ideas for a 50+ yr old rn with lots of experience? :o:o I'm becoming very depressed over this and really sad, I'm spending tons of money on education such as CPR, ACLS, etc.; my license has never lapsed...I've got a pretty decent resume with cover letters always focused on the job and organization , I also practice interviewing and studying the company for days so I know quite a bit about it for the interview as well- I have very nice interview clothes...(I read the stickies on career/interviews ) If anyone has any help, ideas, suggestions, :crying2:
