  1. I'm scheduled for the LPN Bridge interview Aug. 2nd too! Mine is at 1:20pm....sooo nervous! I can't wait til this part is over! Just wanted to say Good Luck to you guys!
  2. Hi - I graduated from DeKalb Tech in September '09. It's a good program and you can really get out what you put into it. It's just as tough as any other program though, so don't think that it's much easier than an RN program just because its for LPNs. When you get out on the floor, you'll be almost as responsible (if not as responsible) for your patients as an RN, so they teach you as much as you need to know (plus some) for when you get out of school. I've submitted an application for the GPC LPN-RN bridge for 2012, so I'm just waiting to see what happens! The competition is a little easier to go from LPN to RN than to get straight into an RN program. If you're willing to consider either option, then put an application into every nursing program within driving distance! It's better to have more than one to choose from than to put all of your eggs in one basket! Good luck with your decision!! Mandy
