  1. Hi wondering if anyone knows how important it is to have a high GPA to get accepted into the CCAC nursing program. I have a 4.0 right now but as classes get harder, it may go down. I know the minimum accepted, but in reality, how high does it need to be to get a place in my first choice which is at CalU? Also, how far in advance can you take the nursing exam to get accepted? Is it a year, 2 years, 3 years? Thanks
  2. I was talking to my dad and he said every degree has 1 or 2 "make it or break it" classes where alot of people drop out or fail out. What classes seemed to be the "make it or break it" in nursing? And what did you do to make it thru them?
  3. 1. Are any bio classes available in Washington or Bethel sites? (hoping i missed something online) 2. What types of prennursing/non NRN classes are available for summer courses?? 3. If I take API/APII and micro before taking the net, is it true that it will add a certain percentage to the overall score?? Thanks!!!
  4. I also have 2 small children. I have personally decided to go year round, taking 1 class that has me out of the house and 1-2 online classes. I have also chosen to take all of the non-NRN classes except for 2 english classes since I have to maintain at least part time in order to get my reimursement. I will then take 1 english and 1 nursing class per semester for the first 2 semesters. I suggest that you look at the max amount of classes u think you can handle and take 1 class off. Doing good in school and not overstressing yourself with it will keep you motivated and what is an extra semester if u decide to lower the load a little bit. You are working at your goal and keep that in mind. Your closer today than you were yesterday!!!!
