Thanks so much, the more i'm researching nursing, the more I'm liking it.......

I'm going to start taking general classes in the fall and I'm undecided about nursing school or respiratory school. It's not about the money for me, I just want to help patients, but i've heard that nursing school is really hard and i'm not that great in science. Any advice would be appreciated....thanks Kris

thanks for the advice!!!! I"m kinda leaning towards RN now, but i still have time to make up my mind before I start at the school I'm going to......

my mom wants me to be a RT, and my grandmother who is a retired nurse, of course wants me to be a nurse, and my dad just wants me to be in the health care field, more opportunities he said, so they're all over the place, lol:yeah:

well thats good, i would appreciate not being shot, but i just can't to get my career on track, i already have a degree so it'll be just like going back to school lol

thanks for the advice, and i have to admit, sores and gore and drama don't really appeal to me, and i love the specialty that RTs provide, I'm just taking some perreq's right now, and i'm leaning towards RT, don't shoot me, lol, but it just seems challenging, and its what i see for myself, so hopefully it'll work out.......thanks again for the advice....

Both seem really challenging and interesting, and never a dull moment, but i just can't decide.lol, i've shadowed both and i can honestly see myself doing both. any help would be appreciated.......

Hi,im not a burn nurse yet but im in school right now but i feel that they don't get the recognition that they deserve. Im a burn survivor have been since 2000, if it weren't for the nurses and my docs at the augusta burn center i don't know where i would be. they are part of the reason that i want to be a nurse and eventually work with burn patients........love you guys and for the rest of the burn nurses, i take my hat off to you guys and keep saving lives.... But is it hard to be a burn nurse since that's the field that i want to go into after school.... kristiina
