  1. Please Help me Deficient Knowledge care plan( I have no idea)

    I need help with a care plan. I recently had a pt. that came in for acute appendicitis. He had an emergency apendectomy on the 9th of November. He was dischagred today Nov. 11. My original Nursing diagnoses for my care plan was going to Acute Pain, my clinical instructor said no, it should be Knowledge deficient. I know I can use Knowledge deficient medicine, what else would I use? And would all my interventions then be teaching? This only my second care plan and any help that anyone can give me would me appreciated.
