  1. Thanks for the replies, guys LOL I was just wondering if it was a requirement, or optional. I am only leery of getting shots because of my past reactions to them, and one of my kids also reacted to his shots. I was just asking, is all :)
  2. Oops, I didn't mean to put an angry face there! LOL
  3. I don't know --I just know it's been over 10 years since I had any boosters. I got really sick last time I was vaccinated, and I have many symptoms of epstein-barr. But I've never been tested. Anyway, I worry about my health if I have to get more vaccines
  4. Just wondering --it's been something that has been on my mind. Anyone know? :)

Hi all ---I've been lurking on this board for a few weeks now (lovely, huh?) LOL Anyway --a little about me. I am 29 with 4 kids (ages 9, 7.5, almost 3, and 8 months), and will be starting to take classes this spring, so I can get on the waiting list for nursing school (2 year wait here). When I was out of high school, I thought college was a waste of time, so I just worked, then met my dh and had a baby. The rest is history. Being a SAHM for 9 years now, I know I want to have a career when my youngest is school age. I really want to be a nurse, but there are so many things I worry about! All the politics, etc. But I do like how there is room for advancement once you are an RN, if you decide to go back to school, if that's what one wants to do. I'd love to be a labor and delivery nurse. Not sure why, but I just feel so called to that. Will I be able to choose what area I'd like to work in, once I am an RN? I keep reading on this board because I want to be sure of something before I get into it. I'm glad you guys are a chatty bunch! LOL Well, just wanted to introduce myself finally! I won't have much to contribute as I'm not in school yet, but I feel dumb lurking and not even saying hi!
