  1. Okay so I am a new LPN grad and I have yet to worK. I did a few per diem shifts at a Assisted Living facility but that is it. I went on an interview today and they offered me a job working in the Urgent Care center, 3d/week, 12 hour shifts. I am soo exrtemely nervous! I need to know if I should be going into this type of field as a new grad or is it going to be too over whelming? Should I Just stick to the Assisted Living for now? HELPpPpP?!?!?
  2. I just graduated from Lincoln tech Paramus this past aug. Nursing school is nursing school, there are good and bad things about it. Most of the professors will just read to you and not really teach you the material which you will then have to go home and teach yourself. Then you have other professors who are wonderful teachers and mentors. If you are confused about something just ask...there is always someone there to help! As far as clinicals go...its different every quarter, at times things will get a bit unorganized but that has nothing to do with you...you go to whatever clinical site you are assigned to and do your buissnes and you will be fine. Don't forget what you are there for and this is to become a nurse, not to complain about how you are supposed to get to your clinical site that might be too far for you
  3. Bryan, your story inspired me tremendously! Congratulations, I am truly happy for you! I am taking my Nclex-pn next Tuesday and I am pretty nervous. Your story put me at ease. Thank you...I will make sure to stay positive and Pray! Pray! Pray! Thank you again :)
  4. I would recommend taking phy right after taking anatomy because they go hand in hand and everything will stay fresh in your mind. If you take Chem in between you might forget some of the anatomy and it will just make it that much harder.
  5. So I have been out of school for a few months now. I graduated lpn school in late August and its now late Novemeber and I'm taking my nclex next week. I haven't been over studying but I have been going over notes every night for about an hour or so. Should I be studying excessively...or is this slight studying better? I just don't want to over do it. The more studying I do the more nervous and stressed I get...so confused
