  1. GrnTea, thanks for correcting me. I guess I would have to say the Nursing program at my school. I have made up my mind to take the classes either in the fall of spring. I'll also keep in mind of the time frame as well. To both GrnTea, and carolinapooh, thanks for all of your help! :)
  2. Thank you carolinapooch for responding back to my post. Actually the BSN program is the one being offered in the same school that I am hopefully thinking about taking the RN program in. Palm Beach now offers Bachelor programs in the school. So I am thankful for that. I would talk to an advisor, but last time I did that they were of no help. They were basically trying to deter me from going to the RN program and settling for something lesser. I really didn't appreciate the fact that someone who is suppose to be there to help you along your dreams and goals was making me feel like a incompetent. Thank your for your help. Have a good day! :)
  3. Well, I've already applied to nursing school at the Palm Beach State College, but was denied acceptance to the school. So now I have a lot of free time on my hands. I was declined due to insufficient amount of points. I had 22 they required that I have 26.13 to even be considered for a spot. Seeing that I have already taken all of my Pre-Reqs for the RN Program, I was thinking of taking some of the General Education Courses classes that are required for the BSN Program seeing that I do plan on going on to get my BSN. I'm thinking if this is possible? Can I take some classes for the BSN program even though I have not been accepted into the RN program? I am doing this to raise my GPA for the RN Program (I already completed my Procalc, and plan on taking the Hesi again) and to meet the requirements for the BSN program as well. Reminder: these classes are part of the General Education Courses, not the Core classes.
  4. Thank you so much for replying back and helping me out. If I have any further questions, do you mind if I keep in contact wit you? :) :redpinkhe
  5. Thank you so much LucasRN for you help. Here are the questions. I know this may seem like alot, but if you can be as thorough as possible that would be great. :) Format of the report: 1. Start with an introduction describing the respondents and their work. Then trace their work life history. 2. What job did they first start out with? 3. Did they change their career? 4. What different jobs have they had? Then discuss their current job. What do they do at work? 5. How do the work systems impede or help them accomplish their work goals? 6. What are the difficulties they face at work? Discuss their co-workers. 7. How much cooperation do they get from co-workers? 8. How much of their work depends on their co-workers’ contribution? 9. How much support they get from their supervisor? 10. How is their performance evaluated and how does it affect their work, and their future? 11. What factors motivate them? What de-motivates them? 12. What part of their job do they enjoy the most and the least? What could be done to make their work a more enjoyable experience? 13. What could their organization or supervisors do to help them? What stops the supervisors from helping them? 14. What are the turf issues? 15. What are their future plans? 16. Will they change careers? 17. When do they plan to retire? 18. What will they do after they retire? 19. Has your work life ever interfered with your family life? 20. At some point and time have you ever thought about quiting your job? If so why?
  6. hello everyone, i'm mrsbabs and majoring in nursing. i was wondering if anyone of the nurses that have worked in their profession for 10 years or more would be willing to partcipate in a sociological research report that i am doing for my sociology class. all i'm doing is writing a paper about 3 different professions and asking my subjects a series of simple questions. i am trying to get this done before thursday or friday. i'm really trying to shoot for an "a" in this class, so if there is anyone that would be willing to help me out, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks :)
  7. oh, i almost forgot, does anyone know whether or not they offer online schools or online classes for rn?
