Newburgh is not the best place to be at night. I must say though that not all of Newburgh is bad. Someone posted that they would not work at Horton because of the crime, but Horton is over the bridge in Middletown. Not the best neighborhood but not the worst either. St. Luke's I hear is in a really bad neighborhood. They are trying to clean up Newburgh of the drug dealers and gangs but that will not happen overnight.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the words of encouragment...I am going to go for it. Are there any orange county nurses out there? I was wondering what the salary range is for a nurse at Arden, Horton or St. Luke's with a bsn or as? Is there a big difference or is it better to get an as and then finish bsn while working? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone...I am a 36 yr old stay at home mom...My youngest will be starting school in Sept and I have been debating whether or not I should return to school to be an RN...I can get a bachelors in 3 1/2 years...what I am worried about is my age and that it may be a tough struggle with kids and school...If anyone can give me some advise I would greatly appreciate it.
