  1. graduate nurses in Navy and Air Force

    I am graduating in December with a bsn and have contacted both the Navy and the Air Force. I talked with an Air Force recruiter on Friday, who had me fill out a prescreen form which I immediately filled out and sent back to him. It's Tuesday and still haven't heard anything back from him. The Navy is a different story, I have called the recruiting office for my area at least four times and still have had no replies in the past two weeks. Are these recruiters that busy that a response is difficult for them or are they disinterested in a recruiting a graduate nurse. I have read some of the posts on here and it seems that the application process can take quite a while so I would like to get started as soon as possible any suggestions on what else I could be doing?
