Would it be any different in the test itself ? Also how much it will cost me to keep both license. Is it worth the money? Thanks for your time Alex

  5. Dear friends, Could you please compare LPN salaries and job opportunities in NYC and NJ. Also where is better to work: in Nursing homes, per diem LPN or Hospital LPN (this opportunity still exists for LPN )? I am planning to graduate from LPN program at Eastwick College in NJ. In other words will look for my first job. I live in Manhattan, NY and wonder should i apply for NY license or NJ license. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all of you ! Alex
  6. HI, I am quite sure about going to HoHokus School. Just for me it will take much longer to get there then to Allied Health..but i guess it's still worse it. I did some reserch as you said and here is some information about NCLEX pass exam: The Center for Allied Health and Nursing Education - 78.26% (They do have an evening class as well) HoHoKus School of Business Medical Sciences - 81.53% Clinical for Allied Health is: Bergen Regional med center Neighborcare Childcare center Children's Specialized Regent Care Center Wellington Hall Woodcrest Health Center Chateau at Rochelle Park Plaza Regensy Do you know if this is a good places to do clinics? One school is Eastwick College, HoHoKus school of Nursing in Ramsey, NJ.There is combined course ''Medical Assisting and LPN (2in1)(20 month) will cost me 19.600$ I can start Jan,25th Second choice is The Center For Allied Health Nursing Education in Hackensack. They have a LPN program starts Feb, 25. Tuition for 16 month course would be 21.600$ If you were me what would you choose and why? Thank you for your time
  8. Hi Dawn674, I spoke with mr.Norton from admissions office about tuition. Both combined courses, ''Medical Assisting and LPN (2in1)(20 month) will cost me 19.600$. So if i want i can start from Jan,25th On the other hand.. I can choose now from two schools. One is the HoHokus School and another is The Center For Allied Health Nursing Education in Hackensack.   9. Hi Dawn674, Thank you very much for your reply. I hear your point. On the other hand i was told by admission officer that tuition for both courses is 19.600$..i guess this just a few hundreds or even less then LPN course itself. Would you still wait and go strait to LPN ? Thank you

  12. Thank you Elena, Unfortunately i have no background in healthcare. All my life i have been a musician. So i am sorry if my questions sounds a bit ....off. Thank you so much again for your answers and time you spend for me. It helps me so much little by little to understand in ditails what i am looking for. i was thinking about college and then some adult center...but i am afraid i am not going to pass there entrance exam so now i am trying to look for schools in NJ...where i have to pay 6 times more..but have chance to get in.   15. Hi Dollbw, Thank you so much for your reply! Brooklyn Adult learning center sounds like a really good deal! Do you have any idea why do they not asking to do prereq? Not that i am complain..lol..but all other schools very strict about taking prereq. Coupld you please tell me if you know their pass rates? I was looking but couldn't fined that information. Thank you for your time.
