  1. Aspiring nurse, but not bilingual (yet)

    It is an unfortunate fact that not being bilingual in Miami will make it VERY VERY VERY difficult for you to get a floor nursing job. Nursing management is a different thing. Even if it is not written in the job requirement, it is still a factor that will weigh heavily against you in the employment process.

  2. Tampa- do not speak Spanish

    I am an RN currently working in home care in Miami. I have applied for jobs in facilities without success which I attribute to not speaking Spanish. My agency for whatever reason caters to predominately English speaking residents. There are few if no facilities where this is also true. Will I have this problem if I relocate to Tampa.
