I am a ADN/RN been a RN since may 2006 experienced in medical/ surgical, and Dialysis, nursing home weekend supervisor experince,charge experince Ive been forced to live off once a month income from SSI, because no one will hire me i walk with a cane or otherwise i walk with a drunken gait because i have a hereditary muscular disorder that affects my muscles,I LOVE nursing and would like to continue in the field of nursing i can still do assessments, and triage type work, paperwork computer literate, I just cannot stand for long periods of time i was a travel nurse i realize i cannot do that anymore but I no there is something I can do so I can use what I went to school for. No one will give me a chance,they say either they cannot hire me at this time or they hired somebody more qualified,the name of my illness is machado joseph disease.please help me with my problem on how to gain employment.
