  1. HI siterkate thanks for replying, i tried to reply to you previously but it ndid not seem to send. I have been a qualified nurse form the UK since Sep 2007 and have been working in an inpatient chidand adolescent mental health unit. I would appreciate any advice in looking for a job within this field or possibly community post, and what opportunites there are. My understanding is that the service in Oz in called CYMHS. I lived in fremantle for a year in 2001 on a work visa so have some undesrtanding of the Perth area, and am looking to come over in August 2009. Many thanks, freosun13.
  2. HI sisterkate thanks for replying to my post. I have been qualified as a RMN since September 2007, and have been working on an inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit. I am looking to come over to Perth or Melbourne, August 2009. I was wondreing what child and adolescent mental health opportunities there were for jobs within this field. I am from the UK and would love to possibly work in the community. I understand that the service is called CYMHS in Perth. I guess i will have to wait and see, are you orginally from the UK?   7. Hello everyone, i am undertaking a nursing degree and will be a registered Paediatric nurse in three years, when im 33 (July 07). The pass mark was 115 points which i scored, but since april this year it has gone up to 120 points. It is a job on the demands list, and i will be applying for Immigration after my 12 months work experience. I have worked my points out and so far it stands at 115, any advice on this subject would be appreciated!! thanks guys..............sunny 13xx

I know that as a Paeiatric Nurse in this country it makes me a Registerd nurse but im not sure who to contact now to get a deffinate answer as immigration only have a answer machine service but thanks for your help, it's much appreciatedx
  9. Hello, i am about to undertake a three year paediatric nursing degree (registered nurse), i am applying for immigration after it is completed. I have contacted imigration and general nursing gives you 60 points, but paediatric nursing is not listed on the skills list, does anybody know if this is recognised and awarded the same points. thanx:roll
