  1. Thanks, I cant wait for her to get out of school, nursing school is freaking expensive.
  2. I think I know what I will do: name _____SN (for student nurse) then after she graduates get a RN and B added to it so it would read: name RN, BSN what do you guys think? Thanks for all of the help BTW
  3. Yes I have ones of those stores near me, I guess I can order it plain online then take it there and have them engrave her name, then take it back there and have the initials engraved later. Thanks.
  4. sounds good, i think this is what i will do. should any jewelry store be able to add the creds later?
  5. OK, so what should I put on there, even if she doesn't use it for a year and a half, BSN, RN, or both?
  6. hi all, my wife is currently a bsn student in her 3rd semester of her nursing program. she told me that for christmas this year she would like a littman's stethoscope. i have found some sites that i can order these from and they offer laser etched name engravings. i would love to get this for my wife, but i am not sure what i should put after her name for her credentials. at christmas she will have 3 semesters to go before she graduates, so i would like for this gift to last longer than that. i want to know what would be an appropriate engraving; for instance, should i put her "name, bsn" or "name rn, bsn" or would it be totally inappropriate for her to use this stethoscope during clinical's since she is still a student. i know the engraving will be small and not very noticeable to her patients, but i also know how people in the field can be about credentials. i would like to get this sorted out without asking her, because i would like for it to be a surprise. any help would be great. i hope she doesn't use this form. also, should periods go after the initials (r.n. , b.s.n.) or no periods?
