  1. Where are there Nursing Schools that aren't as Impacted as California?

    Hello, Wanted to know if anyone had advice or information on any Nursing Schools outside of California? I have been an LVN for over 2 years and i wanted to attend an LVN to RN program. I live in San Jose, CA and every school i've looked into (DeAnza, Evergreen, San Jose State, SF State, etc.) is impacted. Private nursing schools like Unitek charge $39,000. I've finished all of my RN prerequisites. Ive been asking around to other nurses, and counselors and they all tell me the same thing. "you just have to wait". I don't want to wait anymore. Im willing to move out of state to go to school, but just want to know if there are any other schools. Thanks for any advice. Sincerely, Desperate LVN
