  1. I started the LVN to ADN bridge program at Kaplan College in San Diego this past September. All things considered, I am excited, scared, thankful, and overwhelmed. I am hopeful this will be a good experience, one that I will carry with me throughout my nursing career. Having been an LVN for almost three years now, I appreciate the differences that are found in both types of nursing roles, and can't wait to try new areas of nursing. My goals are to try trauma and wound care, and maybe expand out into infection control. I hope to have my BSN completed by 2013, and am considering additional training after that. These are my goals for now, but I recognize that they can change very quickly, and sometimes unexpectedly. For now, I'm enjoying the ride, scary as it may be.
