    Im a tech in the post-partum unit.. Pretty much what we have to do is take vital signs, document intake and output every 4hrs.do peri-care on new c-section moms, and help them ambulate. I have to say its alot less than what you would do on the medecine floors but most of the time it will be one tech with 20 something patients.( that is the only thing Im not happy with)
