  1. During flu season, I work for OccuVAX. I completed the usual online training and orientation for the 2017 season over July the 4th holiday. OccuVAX administrators state they deal with "no shows" for the flu clinics on a daily basis. Each year the problem gets worse. Now flu shot nurse contractors must respond immediately to emails confirming clinics and texts prior to clinics. We must call 15 minutes when clinics are finished. Why are nurses not showing up for clinics or calling to cancel?
  2. You can get a flu shot at local pharmacies. Take any insurance info you have. Tell the flu shot provider you need proof of immunization. When you are asked about this preventive measure at school, show them your documentation.
