Help with Nursing Diagnosis please
hi everyone, I had a female patient in Labor and Deliver. she is g2p1. she originally planned to have vag delivery but 3 weeks ago they discovered a aneurism behind her eye. needless to say she went with elective c-section. she was very fearful of the whole procedure prior to the c-section. shaking uncontrollably and asking many questions.her doctors told her that they are doing a c-section bc if she does a vag she will put stress on the aneurism and complications would follow. she verbalized her fear that something could go wrong with the delivery or something might happen to baby. everything worked out and i held her hand during the whole procedure with her husband. what do you guys think about this Nx: Fear r/t unplanned c-section with possible risk of further complications with aneursim thanks in advance Daniel

Nursing DX...is this right?
i was torn either to go with pain meds or pregnancy. i read that constipation is frequent with the postpartum bc of diminished bowel tone as a result of progesterone. don't know which one is the more dominant factor. sub question to the forum: what would be the focal stimuli?
