  1. Conflicting information

    arha40 posted a topic in General Nursing
    I'm looking at changing careers and have researched over the past year nursing and it definately sounds like a career that I would like to pursue. However, I get conflicting information on the job market for nurses. Is there a need and shortage or is it media hype. Also, I thought about getting my LPN first so I can get into the field and then do my RN studies a year later. Is there many jobs for LPN? I currently live in Denver but considering a move to the west coast (CA or OR) or FL, is there one area better then the other for jobs? Thanks for any input.:roll
