  1. My original goal was to get my BSN from a University in CA, but as I'm getting closer to graduating from a community college & with the budget cuts for schools I'm finding it to be difficult getting into one of these universities. So my second plan was to go to school to get my AA from a community college, but I'm finding out every school I would like to apply to is a 2-5yr wait just to get my AA. So I was thinking of just going for my LVN licenses then later go into a university from a LVN-RN program. Question is what is the fastest/better way to become a traveling nurse as soon as possible? Do traveling nursing agencies accept LVN's to travel? thanks for your help.
  2. my original plan in nursing was to finish my GE at a community college then transfer to a University for my BSN. But the closer I'm coming to graduating from my community college I'm finding its to hard to get into a University I wanted b/c its really competitive and with the economy its becoming even harder then expected. So I'm planning for plan B and that is where I hope someone can help me with. Instead of transferring to a 4yr BSN program in the Fall of 2010 I was thinking about just getting my associates instead. Does anyone recommended a school I should attend for getting my associactes? I live in the San diego area so I would like to keep in local. I heard Grossmont College AA program was good and was recommended by other nurses but its a 4yr wait!! are their any other GOOD schools that offer a associates prgram for nursing? Also if you can offer any tips on becoming a traveling nurse that would be helpful :) Thanks so much!
