  1. Thank you william! Anyone here that can give me advice?!? I would really appreciate it.
  2. Oooops, Typo error . I mean. Consider hiring me.
  3. Ooooooopsie!!! I literally forgot that I made this thread!!!! SORRY! Well, my allnurses family... I took the NCLEX last April 24th and guess what?!? I PASSED with 265 questions, 4 1/2 hours, I took a break (went pee and did some jumping jacks) after every 100 questions - 42 SATAs, 3 drug calculations, some drag and drop and of course multiple questions!!!!!! I used Hurst Review for the content. KAPLAN On Demand which for me was extremely helpful! I did all the questions scoring around 50s-60s percent. And, LaCharity. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Thank you so much for all your help! :)
  4. Hi my beloved allnurses family! So, I just recently passed the NCLEX and now starting to look for a job. I'm a foreign that have a BSN and graduated March 2008. I didn't have any experience and moved here in the US. I'm currently working as a nursing assistant on a Med-Surg floor for about a year now. The hospital that I'm working at is having an opening for New Grad RN Residency. So, I applied for it and still haven't received a response. Which kinda made me down right now. I thought they will conferring hiring me because I am a really good employee. But knowing that I've been out of school for four years now, do you think it will be helpful for me to take a refresher course?!? I've asked some people that I'm working with and they said that I shouldn't waste my money on it because that's what the residency is for. A nurse in my floor even told me that she is willing to be my preceptor if I get in. Everyone in my floor has been really encouraging through my journey on becoming a nurse! So, what do you think my allnurses family?!? Thank you so much in advance for the response! :)
  5. Hi allnurses! So, I schedule to take the NCLEX-RN again for the 4th time on April 24. I am not proud to say that I'd been trying to pass this exam for 3years and end up failing. I'd been really down, thinking of quitting and just try a different career. But, I know in my my heart that I am meant to be a nurse! I'd been really trying to study. I'm using Hurst for content, Kaplan for questions and LaCharity. I'm scoring between 50-60% on the Kaplan qbanks and qts. My question is do you guys think I'm ready to take this exam once again and finally pass it?!? Because, I'm contemplating to reschedule it on the end of May. Thank you so much.
  6. Hi everyone. I'd graduated last March 2008 for my BSN. I'm an international graduate. I took the NCLEX-RN March 26,2010 and failed... Well, I think it's mostly fault to bcoz I didn't really study hard. I'm planning to take it again on July 2010. I just want to ask what do you guys suggest for me to do for me to pass. Kaplan Review Course or just do self-review using Saunders Comprehensive and Q&A book. And, I also have La Charity book. Hope you guys can help me out bcoz I really don't know what to do!!! Huhuhu.. Thanks and God Bless us!
