  1. I just spoke to one of my friends that just finished her first semester of nursing school at Grayson. She said that you also have to attend lecture classes on Monady and Friday from 8-3pm in addition to the days that you register for. When clinicals start, those two days drop. And when clinicals stop, those two days pick up again. She said we would be told about it at orientation. I just wanted to give you a heads up, since I was not aware of this when I told you before. Have a great weekend.
  2. Are you applying for LVN or RN, the acceptance letters for RN go out before the LVN.:)
  3. Im not a previous nursing student, I also got in for the fall, but wanted to share what I do know, which isn't much... Classes are 2 days a week. Practicals are either one 12 hour shift or two six hour shifts. Depending on what is assigned to you. Whe it comes to studying Im not sure but I have heard that you should spend a minimum of 15-20 hours a week... guess it depends on the person. At the orientation there will be a booth selling scrubs, but I have heard that scrub world in Denison has a rack just for GCC nursing students and they are like $24 a set.
  4. cyntrim, did you and your kiddos get in? I believe yall were in my micro class. I got my acceptance letter today:up:
  5. I applied to GCC for the fall of 2011 and received my acceptance letter today! So excited:yeah:
