  1. I am sorry for you and your daughter. I think you should look into seeing someone experienced in Schizophrenia diagnosis, because many of these symptons are indicative of that.
  2. I can agree entirely, it is a big part of what is attractive about her. Thank you for tip on SA, I don't believe she is aware fo the organization.
  3. Thank you. This was good advice and, oddly, reassuring. She seems committed to wanting to stay on medication, but has expressed a strong desire to reduce it somewhat and see how that goes. She functions very well, as I knew her for several months before she told me of her illness, and during that time I only suspected some emotional issues, as you rightly point out many of us have. She was able to complete college despite the diagnosis and some hospitalization, so that indicates something of I guess the severity of her case. Thank you again for your response.
  4. Do not get fooled by the 'he has progressed to vodka' idea. If he goes back to beer, he will still be an alcoholic. There are many alcoholics who only drink beer or wine.
  5. I am dating someone with schizophrenia that I care a great deal about. I am hoping to find information that will help me in understanding. She takes Geodon. I have read the very basic literature on the internet. I guess it would be good to hear from someone that treats this in patients or that has been in a similar situation. P. 26yo, diagnosed 20 yo. Any advice (other than 'run' ) will be helpful. Thanks. :) :)
