Wow, I can't believe that Mississippi are paying the nurses between $16-20! I am not trying to knock nobody on this thread but my 22-years-old sister-in-law makes $16.00 per diem as a CNA in PA & plus the area she lives in it's a lower cost of living!!!! She were going to JSU in Jackson & were trying to get a job as CNA. They wanted to pay her $7.00hr and she said no way. But ended up transferring to Penn State where she'll be graduating this winter. No wonder my family & I are moving away from here. Good luck to you ladies with your careers.
Hello everyone, I am new in here and I need some advice. I know deep down in my heart that I want to be in the nursing field but I don't know whether I should go for CNA or LPN. I live in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and I am trying to find a school that has a LPN program but can't find it or maybe just over looking it. Should I go for CNA or LPN? Thanks
