  1. eazye: I feel like I know much more about Yale as well, and you're right, it's hard to feel too decisive without having any of the financial aid information. I know much more about Yale's program (historically and in the present time) than I do about VT. It seems like I've had to dig to get any info and the administration is not exactly prompt w/responding. As far as setting (urban vs. rural)- I am flexible. VT has a beautiful rural campus, but I hear that Burlington is also bustling, so you can opt for a more urban experience from time to time? I am born and bred on east coast, so neither location is very different from what I am used to. I was also stunned by the size of the cohort accepted at UVM. Most of what I've learned about the program has been from this website and I am thankful for that.
  2. Is anyone choosing between UVM and Yale (adult psych)?
  3. Does anyone know when the semester starts this summer? I received my acceptance letter yesterday (in RI). I had been out of town, may have arrived earlier.
  4. Hello I got email around 10:30. I am applying for the Adult Psychiatric.
  5. Psychiatric specialty interview for Jan 22! I believe that they are also sending out emails to those who are not getting interviews and will be doing so at least through the 15th. That's what I remember...
  6. I am about to take the GRE in order to apply to a some direct-entry programs. I am just trying to get a sense of what people have had for scores on this exam when they apply to this type of program. I had a good GPA (3.7), have been involved in psychiatry research for the past two years since undergrad, can count on excellent recs.- but as I study for the GRE, I'm getting very nervous. I know I could do some searching online to get an idea, but thought I would join here to get a little more personal feedback. Thanks!
