  1. I didn’t use CGFNS when I endorsed my RN license from Florida to California. I requested the transcript and education breakdown from my school in the Philippines and the school mailed it to CA BON.
  2. Do you know who your evaluator is? This might be helpful. Search in fb group and join, California Board of Nursing - Foreign Graduates.
  3. They didn’t ask me that. I just uploaded a copy of my PRC license (they accepted even if it’s expired) and also my Certificate of Passing the Board. If you have those, upload it in Breeze and contact your evaluator to have the verification of license/diploma waived.
  4. Yes. Took BSN in the Philippines.
  5. Did you guys get your CA license yet? My endorsement application was approved last June. I waited 2 months and 2 weeks from the date I submitted the application. I didn’t receive any deficiency from my evaluator (I didn’t even get to know who my evaluator was). I just uploaded everything they might ask from me while waiting for them to review my application.
  6. I thought it takes about a month before you get your deficiencies. Did you try to follow up? Now I am worried, I just paid this week. I don’t know when will I get mine ?
  7. For foreign graduates, has anyone tried endorsing your license to California recently? Did you still take the required units for your deficiencies?
  8. Awww I really hope I would be eligible as well. Planning to move there if I pass the exam. :) Just passed LVN exam here in California but of course I still want to be an RN and we are considering Jacksonville in Florida. Thank you for answering my questions.
  9. Oh wow! Congratulations! Do you reside in Florida? Isn't it a long gap cos CGFNS already forwarded my evaluation to FL BON 2 weeks ago and they will have this board meeting on December?
  10. Hi, I also sent my application for RN exam in Florida. I just called today for a follow up and they said that my letter is already in the mail but it is not an eligibility letter yet. Something about a board meeting on December for the approval of my application. I still need to read the explanation on the letter though. So how was your application? Did you get your eligibility yet?
  11. Yes, I did get a letter from them last year and they need a copy of my clinical cases, academic calendar and my ssn. They can hold your application for a year until you complete all the requirements they need.
  12. Were you all able to keep a copy of your clinical cases? My application already expired as I couldn't get it from my school and I couldn't remember having copies of my PRC cases
  13. That I'm not sure cos I didn't get the expedited service
  14. I got my eligibility letter 6 days after the CGFNS sent the CES report to BVNPT. Yes they do ask for HS diploma, I remembered I sent it thru fax but I couldn't remember the number. Try calling them for a detailed instructions :)
  15. Just took the exam last July 24th right after my review class at rachell allen. It was a 10 day review but before the class I was doing a self review with saunders comprehensive nclex pn book, also la charity (it helped me with prioritization and delegations) I also did questions from Uworld and I love the rationales. :)
  16. Once your documents were evaluated by CGFNS, you will get your eligibility letter from BVNPT. :) Only the Ca BON asks clinical cases. I got my eligibility letter 6 days after the CGFNS sent the CES report to the Ca BVNPT. Hope this helps. Goodluck :)
  17. No I did not get the expedited one just the $350 for the CES. :) I wasn't in a hurry so I just waited.
  18. It took 15 days (after I completed the documents) before they sent my CES report to Ca BVNPT.
  19. Hi, when will you take the test? Did you go to a review class?
  20. Wow! Finally you'd be able to take the test! What happened with your license verification? Were you able to waive it? Or you requested for it to be validated in the Philippines? My school already mailed my transcript to CGFNS but the status at cgfns still says waiting to be received. I thought I could request for my license verification to be waived but the board says if the cgfns was asking for it then maybe it is needed for my evaluation. So now I have to wait again, I just sent the forms for license validation to my sister who'll process it for me. I just hope PRC won't ask for my actual license, I only sent her a photocopy.
  21. My school just mailed the forms to CGFNS yesterday, so I'm still waiting. I requested for professional evaluation
  22. Hi, how was your application? Did you get your ATT yet?
  23. I didn't know that some states have that time limit of education/experience in their requirements. Please let me know about Nevada, planning to take NCLEX in that state maybe in a year. I just sent the forms to my school, hoping it'll be sent to cgfns by next month. Did you also do license verification?
  24. Is it hard to find an lvn job if you dont have an experience? Im still waiting for my ATT, I've been away from medical field for 8 years and I'm worried that no one would hire me because I dont have any working experience in a hospital.
