  1. Aw Thanks!! I have no idea for part time because I had 29 and the only other person I knew who was accepted on the part time track had 29. I know from experience that having at least 27 pts. is a good guideline to follow. Before I took Micro I was a standby person for part time with 24pts but that was a few semesters ago and at the time the number of students accepted was also higher.
  2. You are there just to sign your contract and then you can leave. It'll only take a few minutes depending on how many people are in line :)
  3. 29pts. Part time track.
  4. I got my call a few minutes ago!!! I GOT IN! Good Luck everyone!
  5. They are all white and you can buy your own... I was a standby person 2 semesters ago and went to the orientation. They will explain all that stuff there along with how the online books work ect. It's a long day so wear something comfortable :) P.S. I was standby for the part time program with 24 points. I applied with 29 this time (part time again).
  6. So I went to pick up the paperwork for orientation and I am 1st Alternate... So only 1 person away from Spring... Im crossing my fingers:up:
  7. Well Ur right Andy I guess I should be happy that there is still hope.
  8. They said I could know as early as the Orientation day. I guess if you don't go to the orientation you decline by default so who knows.. Either way I go to pick up a packet tomorrow.
  9. So I got a call this evening saying that I am an alternate for the part time track... I'm pretty sure that means "fat-chance" but thanks for trying but who knows... Does anyone else have any experience about being an alternate. P.S. I had 24 points Geez. I don't know whether to be happy or sad!
  10. Your right.. ultimately do whatever it takes to get in... I'm just repeating what I was told. I applied still even though I'm minus my Micro (which I am taking this semester) Crossing my fingers!
  11. Yeah the receptionist called it a "fluke" She said a bunch of people applied for fall but they were applying with their NLN and not their TEAS thus making a good portion of the applicants not eligible. The girl said that it was common for a person with a lower score to have gotten accepted last time and not to count on getting the same outcome this time. She also mentioned that there seemed to be alot of applicants for Spring as well.
  12. Well the due date for Spring 2010 is Sept. 1 and I believe the fall semester app date is march 1. Which means you should apply Before both of those dates.
  13. I talked to the receptionist at limited entry and she told me that a good safe score was 27. I currently have 24 and figured I'd apply for the part time track just in case. Last semester was a fluke because of the newly instituted TEAS test. So, they were letting in much lower scores. Do what the last poster said and apply the minute you get over 20 points just in case because you never know.
