  1. I think you will be fine. I got the same popup ... the "good popup". Got my quick results and passed.
  2. I just took my nclex rn like an hour ago. I think the general consensus is that the good pops up is accurate and the bad pop up can mean either a pass or fail because it has to be graded twice. You can check for your license on the nursys website. GOOD LUCK!!
  3. Well since OP has been on allnurses and hasn't responded, I'm assuming they failed í ½í¸« Thinking I'm not going to try pvt
  4. I can't remember the problem exactly, but it was for an IM injection. There were three concentrations. I assumed that the concentration that allowed the nurse to fill the order with the least dose given was correct. (Like injection 2mL vs 3 for example)
  5. Hi, On a dosage exam there was a question where there were several concentrations given for reconstitution and we were to choose which concentration was the best. You can use any concentration really, but is it best to go with the concentration that will yield less mL to inject in the end? Also , we were asked a question about mL/min on an IV calculation question. I'm in my last semester and of the the exams we've never been asked this, only mL/hr...is this normal lol it kind of caught me off guard (they decided to administer the test online this semester... )
  6. Exactly
  7. Thank you. Its hard to be honest sometimes because those who haven't been through it don't know. But I will. That's actually another thing that's hard... The nursing classes are so specific it just seems like it would be such a waste ::sigh:: ...I wanted to open up a hair salon and start a product line.. in memory of my grandmother.
  8. I have thought about it but like you said I have come across what seemed like one must have the bedside experience to move into a position like that.
  9. So I am in my first semester of junior year in a BSN program. Honestly I hate nursing. I want to quit. I'm not sure what I would go into if I do quit, but I'm positive this is not where I want to be. I DREAD sitting in these five hour lectures and then spend my weekend being stepped over by the med/surf nurses in my 12 hour clinical. I want out, but then what else will I do. My big dream is to own my own business, but what will a business degree get me in today's reality? I have no time to myself and its made me so depressed working hard for something I don't care about. I can't even talk to anyone because all they want is for me to push through saying it will get better.... But will it? Its so stressful and I'm not happy at all. I'm on the verge of failing medsurg (I'm two points away from passing with two exams and a final to go)... If I fail and have to wait a year to retry I can't picture myself coming back... All this stress and misery for what? To graduate work long hours and STILL be stressed and miserable?. Idk I guess I'm just venting...back to class our break is over
  10. Yea thats what I mean, the straight 4 yrs to include the pre-reqs opposed to first pre-reqs then going into 4 years.
  11. hey everyone, I plan on going to school for my BSN but i want to get into a school that puts the pre-req's into the 4 years of schooling. I have a boyfriend and right now we have a long distance relationship:cry: and dont get to see each other much. We both want to go to college but by the time we both get out of highschool we want to BE TOGETHER:heartbeat. It is very hard not being able to see each other and college is another set back. He wants to go to Penn State (mostly because of sport reasons) and I searched that Penn State has nursing. Does anyone know if the nursing course at Penn State is what i am looking for? Any advice is helpful:wink2:
  12. LMAO!! omg. i agree with you 100 on that one.
