KAPLAN SCORES!!
Mnnurse29 your doing awesome!! Your averaging higher than i did!!! and yes i watched those videos but if you read the book youll be FINE!!! For my diagnostic i scored a 66% and readiness i scored a 72%...but don't worry either way...YOU'LL be FINE!!! and i did think the Nclex exam was easier than kaplan, but it could have been the questions i was given!! Relax, continue to study hard, and youll be fine!! i really wouldn't change the date unless you really, really feel ready!! no need to rush!!

KAPLAN SCORES!!
I want to say my kaplan instructor told me that to have a 96% chance of passing the nclex, the readiness test should be at a 65%....and i also agree that you should stop STRESSING about the scores and more about getting through as much questions as you can, and reading the rationals!! i wouldn't go back and redo the qtrainers because you've seen those questions, and as long as you read the rationals, you'll be able to answer them correctly....I stuck to KAPLAN as my only source, i felt they had enough questions for me to do!! as far as content, all the content i went over was from the videos..which i made my notes and read from there.....too many other books, would have driven me crazy, so if i were you i would stick to qbank!!!

KAPLAN SCORES!!
as long as you follow the kaplan plan exactly as it is suppose to be followed you all should do well!!! with this, i mean, have watched ALL the videos, done all your q trainers, and at least 50% of qbank questions, in the order the book lays out for you, then you WILL PASS!!!! i followed it EXACTLY, and i passed at 75 questions...i scored low 60s on my qtrainers, and 55 and above on the qbanks and PASSED my nclex...i agree with the person who said NCLEX was easier than Kaplan for me at least.....! if you have followed kaplans plan i strongly believe you should have no worries!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

ur welcome susan!!! again, im very happy for you!!!

Kaplan???
Yea it came with my course stuff but Saunders will be fine too!! i used that for three months during my last semester at school...that was our course book and what we studied from as a class to get ready for the NCLEX, and i know lots of classmates of mine that stuck to saunders and PASSED!!! so you'll be fine!!! I just added Kaplan to my studying because my parents were kind enough to pay for it, or else i would have just stuck to Saunders like lots of my classmates had to!!! Just study hard, and when you do the questions, i would def. read the rationals even if you got it right!! i found that to be helpful!!! Good luck hun!!! You'll be fine!!!

Kaplan???
the kaplan book that i have that is Light purple is the kaplan Course book and that one has content!!! i also have that dark purple test taking strategy book...i found it not to be too helpful but thats just my opinion....! the Light purple book is what i read, its very thick, but now that i think about it...it is the "course book" so i don't know if you can buy it seperate.....so in that case, i would go with saunders because it is very informative and gives you a CD filled with questions! If you were going to take a course review then i would say Kaplan all the way!!! either way, im sure youll do fine!!!

Kaplan???
Hey TessaMae...I did kaplan and loved it!!! can you do the whole course?? even if you do the online course, it would be well worth it....they give you videos that breakdown all the stuff we learned in nursing school and they also make things easier to remember, and they also give you qbank questions and trainers that help you identify areas of weakness....if you can only do the book (trust me, i know how expensive it is), i would still stick to Kaplans newest book....its purple i believe...it broke topics down into outline form and made it easy to follow! it didn't over load you with information!!! Saunders is what i used during my last semester of nursing and i also thought it was great but it goes into a lot of detail that you do not need to know! Overall, i loved my experience with Kaplan and i passed at 75 questions....as long as you follow their program, if you can do so, you would have great results!!! good luck regardless....study hard, but make sure you take time to relax as well!! ESPECIALLY the night before....i stopped studying by 4pm the night before...and even during the time i was studying i just reviewed lab values, etc...nothing Crazy!! hope this helped!

Hey guys...someone earlier asked about Kaplan and i really have to say that it was GOD sent....I did everything Kaplan say to do from start to finish...i watched ALL the video's, went to on site classes, and completed all the qtrainers and did 80% of qbank questions!! Kaplan breaks down week to week what you should be doing and i followed it perfectly! and my results were passing after 1hr and 75 questions......if you are thinking about Kaplan i strongly recommend it....and if for some reason you were unsuccessful, you get your money back-as long as you followed the program.......! when watching the video's i did fill up a notebook with notes...it was helpful to me! i hope this helps! again...good luck to everyone!!!

Good luck to everyone taking the boards....my one piece of advise that helped me pass my Nclex-RN at 75 questions was NOT studying the night before....i just reviewed minor details, like lab values, meds, etc. till 4pm. then i QUIT and relaxed. Kaplan taught me that and i believe it truly worked!! if your taking the test far away from your home (like mine was an hour away), i would stay at a hotel. My test was 8am so i did not want to drive!! plus that would have made me more nervous to drive in the day of! It worked for me and i hope it works for you all!! i know you want to cram every piece of info into your head but you really do need that good night sleep!
