do you have an experience? Do you know how to get a liscense in CA when moving and if so, do you need to do it ahead of time when just applying to jobs?

Hello, I currently am living in another state and am interested in moving to CA. I am a recent new grad and want to know how and when I should obtain a CA liscens. I have applied ot several places online but most of them will automatically disqualify you when its asks if you hold a CA RN liscense....at the time I don't but, I meet all other requirements. any info would be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if LTC centers are good ways for new grads to get med/surg experience or any experience that might get you future jobs in actual hospitals? Does anyone know anything about emeritus nursing, at wilson mountain?

Hi all, I am a new grad (Jan. 2010) and passed my nclex in March. I have my first interview tommorow at Westwood Lodge (part of Arbour Healthcare). I am interested in psych nurisng so this is definately a good opportunity. I was wondering if any one knew anything about this place? The reviews I looked at weren't good : ( I really need the med/surg exerience but haven't been able to find a position in med/surg : ( Thanks

Hello, I was wondering what the market is like for new nursing graduates. Right now I am in an accelerated BSN program and will be graduating in Dec and then sititing for my boards. ...and possibly what hospitals in NYC areas are good for new grads ( good training)???

Does anyone suggest any particular hospitals to apply to? I will be graduating in Dec, and then siiting to take my boards shortly after.
