I have emailed all the hospitals where I want to be......but nothing I am a good nurse.....someone give me a job in Ontario Please!!!!!

I'm in the same boat at the moment and live outside of Canada. I've recently just passed the CRNE and am looking for a job. I look on Workopolis.com and hospital websites direct. does anyone know of any agencies in Ontario that perhaps help with getting employemtn for nurses??? and Jen the RN2009....good luck with your move!!!!!

I'm halfway through a night shift....wondering,......are my results on a truck somewhere ready to be given to a postman in a few hours to put through my door??????? Tiredness is slowly turning into hysteria.....fingers and toes crossed they come!!!!!

I wasn't criticizing...I was merely discussing....yes a computer system may cost a lot of money to set up to give members better access to results/info etc....but you have to speculate to accumulate, they wouldn't have to employ the staff to sort through the results every year in each province would they? And it's funny but I don't remember sitting my exam in a hotel ballroom.....it was a cold warehouse type place with no heating, barely no bathroom facilities...nowhere to buy refreshments from and we were all chucked out in the cold for an hour in the lunch break......the poorest conditions for any exam I have ever done!!!!

The year is 2009 and I can see my friend in canda when i speak to her live these days.....so why does the mail have to be involved???? It was a computerised exam...therefore shouldn't it be easy for the CNA to use computers to give out results??? just a thought.......

Yes i agree that must be the ultimate in stress especially for those working on a temporary liscence/visa!!!!

Oh yes...still Waiting...dont think i'll get them in the near furture as noone in ontario has yet...and knowing my luck the royal mail withh strike again soon!!!! I just keep thinking ...no rush...what will be will be!!! and doesn't everyone think that the online system would be better??? I mean when i was at university that was how we got our results!!!!

Petgroomer I do find it a little strange that the results are dished out at different time to different provinces....i mean we all sat the same exam....at the same time.....so how fair is letting the results be staggered....not fair I would say...especially for those whose jobs depend on it! I also think in this days and age you should of been able to put in your exam ID online and received your results....I mean it would of meant it setting up a password...but make things earsier all around i'm sure! god my letter will be a world class athlete when it gets here!
