  1. Thanks all for your replies. I am in NY city. There are no jobs for new grads, especially Associate-new grads. Only experienced RNs are wanted here, others are on their own. Even the never-heard-of-smallest-facilities are requiring experience. Did someone say nursing shortage? What a lie that was/is.
  2. Thank you very much. A few years ago it was not so hard for new nurses but now with the economy everything is different. I guess that's call bad luck. Anyway we'll keep fighting, thanks again and all the best to you.
  3. I would appreciate if anyone could inform new graduates RN about how to obtain an entry level job (first RN job) in New York. Thank you very much in advance from all of us, the New Graduates RNs.
  4. I am a New Graduate in New York City. I graduated in May with an AAS in Nursing and I passed the NCLEX in July. For one month I have been searching for a New Grad position and so far nothing. Not one facility is looking for New Grads. Every hospital website I log on to is looking for 2 years experienced RN. I would appreciate if someone in New York city could help me and other graduates by giving us some information about how to get a New Graduate job in New York City. Thank you all.
