  1. I got RN diploma in different country. No, i never did send application. That's what they told me on the phone. Wait untill we review your transcripts, and if we found that you are eligible for taking NCLEX, you will go head and send us the rest of paperwork. My 2 classmates from my Nursing school did same thing and they are already passed NCLEX and are working. But they are in NY, i am in CA. There are some diffrence in procedures. I am from Republic of Georgia ( it's a former USSR), and all our student have enough credits for taking NCLEX, without going to school in USA.
  2. I applied to BRN of California ( Sacramento)
  3. Thank you for your respond :) . Well, i will call them on Monday. maybe i supposed to send my application before they recevied transcripts? Thank you again :)!
  4. Hi, everyone! Finally i found the site, where i can ask questions about my future plans becoming RN. I am foreign nurse. Completed school outside of USA. Now i would like to aplly for NCLEX. I did send request of transcripts form to my school, they did everything pretty quick, and send all my documentation to the Board. When i was contacting Board over the phone, they told me, that first they have to recieve my paperwork form my school, and only then i can send them my application with fingerprints and paid fees. It's been more than 6 monthes, i didnt receive any letter from the Board, telling me if i am eligible or not to take NCLEX. I know that it takes long time, but not that long i think. Maybe i am wrong. Please, if anyone knows what should i do? And, one more thing i am a Permanent Resident of USA, so i have no problems with immigration problems. Thank you so much.
