bump!!

bump .. trying to see if i can get more info. do you know anything about the question i asked though about having licensure in your field that you have a bachelor's for?

I have a friend who told me she got in with a 2.9 .. I'm doing psychology my bachelors degree. I saw something on the UM site that confused me. It said you needed licensure in your field for your bachelor's depending on what field it is from. That isn't exactly how it was stated but I know it was something along those lines. Is this true? because or me to have licensure in psychology I would have to have graduated from a masters program which is not my aim. Any info on this ice? Btw Ice can you give me any advice or info about the program? It would be much appreciated thanks!

shescoolie did you get the credit? i took health I, health II, some other health classes and then the CNA program internship during my senior year. think i'll get it? do you know how i can contact ********? or do you suggest i just go to her personally?

I was in hosa all 4 years of highschool & competed all 4 years. I graduated from a medical magnet highschool in dade county in 2007. I'm almost positive hosa doesn't show on transcripts because it's like an extracaricular activity kind of like a club. Although, at my highschool because I was in the medical magnet it was required. I think my best bet would be to call BCC tomorrow. I just thought I'd ask on here because I had seen some talk on other posts at earliar dates for the hosa waiver. The BCC website mentions hosa. But it doesn't mention how to prove you were in it.

Did any of you use the hosa waiver for the extra 5 pts? If you did do you know how to get it? I need it.

Yesterday I visted the campus and was advised. I was told by him that the minimum GPA for a transfer/bidge student to be considered for the program was a 3.8. I was very confused by this by this because the MDC website says a 2.0 is the minimum. I asked to make sure that this was an average student admitted gpa.But the adviosr confirmed it was bare minimum. So which is the minimum required GPA? I was told by him that I would not be eligible even though I have a GPA of 2.99. I was also told by him that I would not be eligible even though I currently go to FIU and have completed 51 out of there almost 54 credits including all of the credits the MDC website states the school requires minus the PPE 1005 and CGS 1060. He told me that those were MDC courses but the website says that they can be taken concurrently with your nursing programs. Can someone clarify this with me PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE .
