  3. For anyone waiting for lpn to rn days, I just spoke to admissions. They have to wait for the semester to "close" before they will have letters sent out for the lpn to rn day program. not till june..phew..i can breathe..
  4. Nope and I was slightly panicking. I have no changes to my degreeworks, but from the above comments I'm guessing the letters for us haven't gone out yet. I just got an email from a girl I used to work with and she's waiting for lpn to rn and she said JULY!!! I'm not sure where she got her info from...I'll update with any info i get...fingers crossed are u days or evenings lpn to rn?
  5. sorry for all the post, slighting obsessing now. im trying to figure out who got accepted into what program. im waiting on lpn to rn days? anyone heard? got letters from that program or their degreeworks changed yet?
  6. ktlyn, did you get accepted to the generic days or lpn to rn?
  7. have you heard anything anna007? im still no letter and no degreeworks change, im assuming its a negative at this point
  8. no degree work change and no letter? should i assume thats a negative for this year?
  9. hey im one week out from finishing my first term in my program. the care plans are explained in great detail and the calculations are easy to master once they are broken down for you but pharmacology on the other hand is terrible, i studied and studied by butt off for it and just passed by one point. its tough, time management it the key and read as much as you can
  10. Im in nursing school now with no kids and only working 19 hours a week and I'm finding it tough. One girl in my class is a single mom to 3 kids, working full time and is in school full time.Dont know how the hell she does it but everytime I feel overwhelmed and want to complain, I think of her. I have it pretty easy.
  11. Hi all, So I'm starting LPN School in Sept and have been to the doctor to can my physical and vaccinations signed off. I had the 3 series of shots for hep b when I was 17. I'm now 28. My doctor wants proof of this which I don't think is unheard of however I moved countries 4 years ago and the doctors office back home is no longer there and I am not able to get a copy of my injections. She also said she can't test to see if I'm still covered for hep b either and won't do a titer. What am I supposed to do? A nurse I work said I would probably need a booster cause it's been over 10 years but my doctor said she can't do that either. Should I find another Doctor?
  12. I was in the very back left hand corner. I kinda wish I had of sat near the front now. I don't want to miss out on anything. I didn't buy the steth yet. I wish I had of know that we didn't need to wear uniform to classes. I probably wouldn't have ordered as many. I took a look at that website and my husband freaked. I neglected to tell him that books weren't included in the tuition. Lol. I have a few girls I work with who are graduating this week so I'm going to wait and see how many I can get from them. I'm getting nervous now about the study and working balance lynn was talking about. Really have to apply myself.
  13. sheryl, where were you sitting yesterday?
