  1. I graduated with my BSN in May, and passed my boards. Now I am having a really difficult time finding a job. I worked for about 4 years as a CNA in one organization in Wisconsin at the nursing home and the med/surg floor of the hospital while in nursing school. They did not have any RN jobs when I graduated. So I have been looking for a RN job. I would like to start in the hospital setting, eventually critical care or emergency. I loved working in the hospital as an aid. I am willing to move anywhere in the country to work. My license is in Wisconsin. I think it is easy to work in any of the 25 states in the Nurse Licensure Compact. I have sent out many applications, and had two interviews. I was told by one of the managers at the beginning of the interview that I was going against two experienced nurses, so my chances of getting the job was slim. How am I supposed to gain experience if I cannot get a job in the first place? Does anyone know of hospitals hiring new grads? Thanks for listening to me poor out my frustration!!
