Hi, I am a new studying for the board exam. I would like to know if the Kaplan course is a must. A lot of people I know seem to say that if you do not take a review course before taking the Nclex you will fail... I want to find out if this is true. I would like to know how long you had to study before taking the exam. How many questions? what books do you recommend? Thanks.

Hi everyone, As a new grad, I am preparing for the nclex exam here in Maryland. I am pretty confused. I would like to know how you guys studied to pass the board exam? What was helpful, did you have to take a review course like Kaplan? Does it worth it? I would also like to know if you entered a fellowship before passing the nclex? Your answers would much appreciated and would ease an anxious fellow.
