  1. Thank you for your response. I originally wanted to do WGU but having to take biochem and Statistics from WGU discouraged me. I have not come across anyone here in all nurses that have completed their RN-BSN from Aspen University though. However, I have spoken to an enrollment counselor from Aspen University and the fact that the school is very affordable ($9750 for RN - BSN), no clinicals/preceptorship, no group projects, and 100% online for full time working nurses like us is very convenient. Let me know if you do decide to go with Aspen. I am hoping to start the program on September 5th. :)
  2. Hello, I would like to pursue my BSN degree and came across Aspen University. I currently have my ADN. They are CCNE accredited and 100% online. Has anyone obtained there BSN from Aspen or is currently doing their RN-BSN ? I would appreciate any feedbacks, thoughts and opinion? I am debating between WGU or Aspen.
  3. Hi ! I have been an lvn (in CA, *LPN in most states) for almost 6 years, and currently in an lvn-RN bridge program. It has been a great career so far. I see that you have been a CNA, and it's definitely a big advantage that you have that experience going into LPN school. I went to a private school for 20 months (part time program). School was very fast paced and it involves alot of self studying. I would definitely recommend practicing ALOT of nclex questions because most of you quizzes and exams are nclex-style type of questions. *SAUNDER's and LIPPINCOTT is 👍👍 Definitely look into getting your RN once you get your lpn though, as it will open up more broad opportunities for you Good luck!
  4. Hello! Im an lvn student at Pierce College. Failed my 2nd sem Psych class by 1.1 point (was working full time, BIG mistake on my part :\) So Im currently out of the program. Im looking into applying / transferring to Pasadena City College. Would I need my courses evaluated by a PCC counselor since its not the same district? Also do you guys know If I need to retake the TEAS again? Hope you all got in :)
