  1. There are a tonne of jobs in Halifax. I graduated in December and my entire class is working already. http://www.careerbeacon.com/apps/pbcs.dll/misc?URL=/corporate_profiles/ns_dept_of_health/ns_dept_of_health.html&Category=CBPROFILES Relocation Allowance In order for us to recruit nurses, the Nursing Strategy offers financial support for relocation to Nova Scotia. This program is administered by the employer. New recruits may apply for reimbursement as part of the employment process. The Nursing Strategy offers financial support for relocation to Nova Scotia. Up to $5,000 is available to nurses from outside the province who wish to relocate and work as nurses in Nova Scotia. http://www.gov.ns.ca/health/nursing/default.htm
  2. I am new grad from Canada and I just wrote my national Canadian exam (awaiting results). I am very interested in writing the NCLEX...and the whole procudure it totally overwhelming. Many people are obviously well versed on the necessary documentation, and I am just wondering what I need to do. For example...is writing the exam the first step or do I have to do the visa screen first?? Thank you so much for your assistance.
  3. The women that gave us our test did not even know about the short answer questions. After I passed in my second booklet, I asked them when we get the short answer questions (cause I wanted to have a look at them in case I have to write again in June). They had no idea what I was talking about!! ARe you writing in June??
  4. I wrote my exam on January 19. 2005. The women that were in charge of the exam did not even "know" about the short answer question optional questions!! I wanted to at least have a look at them in case I am back in June...God forbid. I think the price hike for the exam is pathetic...$276 to write it in January 2005....$448.50 to write it in June!!...at least in NS...is the cost the same throughout Canada?? :angryfire
