God grant me patience, wisdom, sanity, and I will graduate in May with a BSN, obtain my RN license over the summer. I'm pretty sure I would like to start out in either critical care or emergency care. . .I like a challenge, I like a fast-paced, unpredictable environment (I feel like I adapt well to it too!) and I think I want to work in North Carolina. Particularly, I think I want to work in the Charlotte area of North Carolina or within a 30 mile radius of Charlotte. . .so, all Charlotte & Charlotte area nurses or anyone who has a good idea of what it is like to work in the hospitals in that area. . .which hospital(s) would be a good place for a new grad to get a job in the ER or CCU?

i am graduating next may with my bsn and nursing school has been centered around passing the nclex, i do not recall any other rn licensure exams being mentioned up to this point. after i pass the nclex and receive my rn licensure, will that allow me to practice in any state as an rn or are there some random states that have a different type of licensing exam that you are required to take in order to practice as an rn in that state? if that is the case, what states do not accept nclex licensure? thanks!
