  1. As I put in my title I am new to allnurses.com. I am a registered medical assistant x 5 years now with(what I feel like) several general college credits to back it up. I work full-time at an orthopedic office, but have wanted to fulfill my dream of becoming an RN. The only problem is..working and working around my schedule. I've looked at every college I can possibly think of and almost all of them do not do evening hours or you have to already be licensed as an RN(which I'm not). Even though I have a long career in the medical field, it doesn't seem to hold any water to being accepted into these schools. I'm looking for an RN associate degree program. I am more than happy to accept any suggestions, comments, help anything at this point please!!!!!!!
