I am to start LPN school this week. I am also to have a LEEP procedure done the second day of class due to a bad pap (1st one ever) for a CIN111 report that was diagnosed from the biopsy. I am very concerned and want to go to school. I am now concerned that this may mean hystorectomy time and may mess me up with school. The parth report from the biopsy says Moderate and Focally severe squamous dysplasia CIN111. with extension to underlying endocervical glands The poosibility of invasive squamous carcinopn cannot be enirely excluded. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet. Any encouragment would be great. I really want to be a nurse. I curently am a social worker with a degree. I am returning to LPN school and then will go for my RN. I am very upset by this. Are instructors generally nice about having to miss class for medical reasons? Julie
  2. I am starting LPN school this coming Tuesday. (1-06-04) Iwill be working as a social worker, trying to maintain a husband and child and go to school. I feel very fortunate to have been accepted and looking forward to it. After all the pros and cons of returning to school (I have a four year degree already) I decided to go for it. Out of the clear blue I had some bad Pap results and have to have a leep done the second day of class. I am very stressed to say the least, and now wondering if women problems will come into play with all of the other stress I will be having with nursing school. I dont wont to turn down school now, I am enrolled and ready to go. Has anyone else had any similar issues? Any advice would be great. I want to be a nurse! Julie
