I know i am fed up! I have been a CNA for over a year now and I do home health care, I make a puney $9 dollars an hour, never had a raise, i work 7 days a week and I go to school to get my RN, I have a full schedule and I am still on call for staff relief at my company. I give baths and wipe butts all day long, run people to the grocery store, the doctor, the pharmacy, and to pay their bills. I spend more money helping these people than I make, I am not appreciated by my paitents, never do i hear a "thank you" or "I appreciate your help" they just think that its my job so it doesnt matter. Every paitent I have ever had tells me that I am the best aide my company has ever sent out to their home. But I get no appreciation from my boss or my paitents. I am fed up is it any better working in a hospital or LTC?
