  1. Hi, I need some help.I graduated nursing school five years ago. A few months ago I took the NCLEX and passed. I interviewed for a job in med/Surge and it looks promising. I took so long to take my test and actually get an RN job because I let the fear of hurting someone paralyze my ambition. Anyways, I haven't been able to stop thinking about being a nurse so I am committed to going thru this time. My question is I feel so lost and I was hoping some of the great nurses here could give me some topics/skills/meds/anything else you think I could brush up on or study before I start my job. I don't want to know nothing for my first day
  2. I graduated nursing school in may 2009 and due to this hectic year have not yet taken the nclex. I was wondering if there is a deadline to pass the nclex before my opportunity to test expires. I graduated in pennsylvania and I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out with this. I know that on my paperwork I recieved after graduation it says that you have one year from the date the letter was signed but I was hoping that was just the deadline to turn in the paperwork in. I have read that some people have waited years and were still allowed to test. Is this true? Thanks for reading.
